Art show. Art stuff.

Been really busy with preparation for an up coming art show. Part of Gallery Night this year, art will be located on willy's street. Hosted by Lazy Jane's Cafe, up on the 2nd floor. I will have some old, and new originals on display, along with prints, buttons, and boxes. Tree painting, done on 9x12 paper, watercolor/acrylic inks. Simpler, relaxing painting, life is starting to show in these wastelands. Finally, spring. Last Tuesday Shpongle was in town, it was a very enjoyable, and inspiring event. After getting home that night, I sketched this out. Working on this almost non-stop. Scratching it out on clay board. Trying to layer UV reactive colors to the white lines, see how it turns out. Its pretty surreal drawing inverted. Last, I have changed directions with this blog. I post less then daily here, and have moved to tumblr for the daily sketch groups, for more motivation and community. I give you Carrion Luggage! The new "daily grind" Ill save this place for more bi-weekly, posts, with finished pieces/projects, updates on summer shows, and locations. Enjoy.

Electirc Snake

Been in a funk. While art has been done just about every day, most is freelance commissions. Personal stuff has been sitting on the back burner. I will try to get back in the swing of things. Quick digital piece I did yesterday for myself, see if I can jump start my motivation.

Haven't been posting alot these last few weeks, Been busy getting everything in order for this, I have 19~24 pieces(depends on space) on display for the full month of August. If you in or around Madison, please come by and check this out, and get yourself a sammich!

Older image I went though a spiced up some. tweaking the anatomy, and fixing the over all modd and lighting. I haven't posted anything in a good 2 week. Things have been busy, with packing, moving, unpacking, and work work work. Fun stuff all around. Still setting up the studio, but once things are in order, I should be back to daily posts. Take it easy internet.

Computer has been down, scanner is on the fritz, going to be slow to update this for a while, but I will try to do it as offend as possible. 9x12 in painting iv been trying to finish up months now, and I feel done with it. While it could be better, for now I am going to call it done.

Totally in Texas for the next couple of weeks....got a bit of painting done on the plane. Fun times! I love flying.

Internal beast.

I could say more about this, But its better I dont. Going on vacation for a couple of weeks, any posts made between now and then will be rather spazmatic. Expect a massive upload on my return?
